Description
I worked as a User Experience Designer on several digital projects for the Madrid City Council, focused on modernizing public services and promoting open government during Manuela Carmena’s term.
The most relevant project was Decide Madrid, a web platform for citizen participation and direct democracy designed to facilitate active civic involvement in public decision-making. My work focused on designing clear, accessible, and understandable flows for a wide range of users, reducing entry barriers and improving the participation experience.
I also took part in the evolution of CONSUL Democracy, the open-source base version of the project, adopted by numerous cities and organizations nationally and internationally. This work contributed to consolidating a reusable, scalable platform aligned with principles of transparency, accessibility, and usability in institutional contexts.
